Spin Learning Boxes and PDA

Here at Spin Learning, we have experience of and understand PDA and we tailor our curriculum to the needs of extreme demand avoidant students.  

Many of our students have dis-engaged from formal schooling due to anxiety and trauma. Our emphasis therefore is first and foremost on promoting interest and engagement, so we link all activities to the child's current interests. 

The weekly boxes provide novelty, something that is important to many PDAers. 

Autonomy is also a powerful motivator for PDAers, so in this programme they can choose whether to engage with the activities at all, and they can choose how to engage with them. 

The students are always provided with instructions for carefully planned, optional activities/challenges to build their skills and extend learning.
